FREE WORKFLOW SELECTOR
Which AI coding tool category fits your team?
Answer six workflow questions. The result compares operating models—not brands, model benchmarks, or marketing feature lists.
CURRENT MATCHStart by selecting your needs
The selector will explain which operating model best matches the checked requirements.
Compare all categoriesInterpretation: Categories overlap. A team may use autocomplete for immediate edits, a local agent for exploration, and MonkeyCode for shared, managed tasks. Choose the lightest operating model that satisfies the real requirement.
How does the AI coding tool selector work?
It maps six workflow signals—editor speed, repository-wide changes, real build and test execution, shared team visibility, central governance, and private deployment—to one of three operating models: code completion, an IDE or CLI coding agent, or a managed AI development platform. It compares operating models, not brands or benchmark scores.
Is the result biased toward MonkeyCode?
No. The selector returns the lightest operating model that satisfies the requirements you check. Completion or an editor assistant is recommended when that is enough; a managed platform such as MonkeyCode is suggested only when shared visibility, central control, or private deployment are real requirements.
Does the selector send my answers anywhere?
No. It runs entirely in your browser—selections are evaluated client-side and nothing is submitted, stored, or tracked.
